DEFINITION
Chatta'at - an offense, and it's penalty, occasion, sacrifice, and expiation
Hamartia - to miss the mark; that which is done wrong, and offense, a violation of the divine law in thought and act.

Romans 3:20 - For by works of the law no human being will be justified in His sight, since through the law comes the knowledge of SIN.
Psalm 32:1 - Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose SIN is covered.
