RESTORE

 

RESTORE - Strong's G2675, "katartizo" - Verb.

DEFINITION - to mend (what has been broken or rent); to repair.

Usage is Scripture - Galatians 6:1 - "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore in a spirit of gentleness.  Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted."

As Christians we have a responsibility to confront fellow believers when it is revealed they are participating in sinful behavior but are to do so with love and gentleness.  We are to treat them as we would want to be treated when we are confronted for our sins.
